The Holeum “Sublime Emptiness”
Biography
The band was formed in September 2014 by experienced musicians in the metal scene and members of prestigious underground Spanish metal bands like NahemaH, Hela, Demised, and Paradox.
The Holeum is related to the dark matter that forms black holes in the Universe. The Holeum is not a black hole but black holes are formed by The Holeum. That is the idea from which we get our concept—we create a sonic and cosmic vision of the sublime.
In 2015 we crafted our concept as a band and wrote our debut album Negative Abyss which was released worldwide by the German record label Lifeforce Records in September 2016.
Now we are at the beginning of 2019, but some concerts and festivals have already been scheduled and there is a highlight among those dates: we will play at the international metal event Rock The Coast Festival (Rainbow, Scorpions, Opeth, Carcass, Dark Tranquillity, etc) this June in Fuengirola, Spain. This is definitely going to be the year of our new album Sublime Emptiness, which deals with the transcendence of human beings as microcosmic particles and our spiritual connection with the macrocosm.
